e-Court.ca filed its charter with Corporations Canada on March 29 2010 under number 7351801. e-Court.ca (hereafter referred as e-Court and holding company for its overseas subsidiaries) networks (defined in the fullest meaning of the word i.e to include use of Internet ) between parties who share its vision of a transparent, fast and affordable Internet access to Legal services. The corporate e-Court (TM) office is located in Ottawa, Ont. Canada. The company is an independent group of experienced professionals like arbitrators, lawyers, barristers, solicitors or attorneys, judges, university professors, industry and other legal interest groups. e-Court aims to provide competent, affordable and speedy justice for everyone. No hidden costs. We do not occupy expensive mortar and brick offices and we compensate our arbitrators with a just remuneration which pays the professional for their time and not for "pushing" paper work. The time an experienced judge and/or arbitrator spends on your case, is pure thinking, not paperwork. This saves in cost.
Amounts in contest are deposited in an escrow account with BMO prior to the start of the litigation process. They are immediately released when the verdict favors the Claimant or when against, deposits are returned to the appropriate parties.
e-Court engaged a Professional Chartered Accounting firm to conduct an annual audit of its financial records. Members are privi to receive the independent annual audit review reports.
e-Court cases take no more than six weeks (excluding a possible appeal of four weeks). This makes the process to cost much less than ordinary courts, where to obtain a ruling takes on average between 70-90 weeks.

Socials are being held each month throughout the country, except during July and December when no events take place. E-Court believes that aside from the many advantages that the internet offers, there is a big role for meeting "eye to eye" with legal professionals in a social setting.
